While carousing around Target the other day I wandered into their mirror aisle. I was wowed at their awesome and quite affordable selection of mirrors.
Hanging a mirror in your home is one of the easiest ways to remix the look and feel of your space. You can:
Keep reading to see what mirrors were my Target faves. I gathered a few different styles from Art Deco, to Sacred Geometry and a few Masculine looks too!
Sacred Geometry is one of the most interesting things I have learned about this year. In a nutshell, all things in nature come from these simple patterns, even you. From the first splitting of our cells and beyond, we are made up of geometric perfection.
Sacred geometry has been used in interior design since antiquity. Lots of examples have been found all over the world from India, Egypt, Sweden, England, Ireland and countless other places. Now you can incorporate it too!
Sacred Geometry is a great way to:
FInd it —-> Top left mirror, Top right mirrors, Bonus wall art

How to Create a Unique Christmas Tree Tip #1 ::: Color Pick
Picking your colors can be lots of fun but chooooose wisely. Decide early if you want your tree to have more of a classic look or if kitschy (playfully overdone) is more your style. You can go either way, just know where you want to be.
This year, it was all about Red, Red, Red. Next year I can add a string of white lights and make my tree all pepperminty! See how fun color can be?!

How to Create a Unique Christmas Tree : Tip #2 : Light Bright!
Lights are fun!!! Multi-colored lights have always been a Christmas staple. This year, experiment with single colored lights. They are introducing lots of different colors now! There are blue ones for a Hanukah bush and red for a Puerto Rican like me. =D I think they are dramatic and fun. Even better, you can use them all year round like my sister does. I have seen her Holiday lights strung in her kitchen and at her parties. I keep a string of purple lights in my bedroom! Rawr!
-Jessie Grace
Tip #3 ::: Wrap it up!
Try Ribbon instead of Garland or icicles. I think it’s classy and dramatic. I loved icicles as a kid, btw. I just love trees. =}
Wired ribbon works best. Sheer is also a must. You want your lights to twinkle through. I picked up mine at the end of last year’s holiday season, on sale! Do the same this year, you will save big time with all of your decor.

How To Create a Unique Christmas Tree ::: Tip #4 ::: Make it yours!
Have fun with it. Your tree should represent you and not some magazine. I like ornaments with sweet little faces, stuffed animals and things that remind me of my dog. That is who I am.
Fill your tree with things that represent you. Get creative and look around your home. You may already have things you collect that can become ornaments. Talk about custom!!!

Do you love the look of fancy schmancy napkins?
They look luxurious and super special for the Holiday Season, don’t they?!

WHAT YOU NEED:
I chose gold for the festive season. If your table is missing color though, go for a colored napkin. Pick the richest color that you can find.
I used rubber hair bands that I had around the house. (unused of course) I like them because they are easy to work around the napkin and because they virtually disappear. If you want to get extra fancy, tie a ribbon instead.
{Healing} has been heavy on my mind. Following me like a shadow, waiting for me to recognize it. So here it is.
In order for me to live, most fully in my purpose……Healing must come. Dassit!
My truth is also your truth. We all have things we need to heal from. Insecurities, fears, doubts, and traumas. The question is, how do we heal ourselves? How do we mend our spirits and minds?
In this day and age, there are many ways to self medicate. We all have our vices. From food, to liquor, to over shopping. It is common, and very human, to go outwardly to soothe what is happening on the inside. The thing is…..these methods, while they may be fun in the meantime never really supply the healing we are after. They are merely a distraction, and a bandaid to cover the pain that is really there. Keepin’ it real.
Lately, I have been studying Medicine. Now, I am not talking about the kind of medicine that comes in the form of pills and tonics but a different kind of Medicine passed down from the Native American People. There is much wisdom in their teachings.
Read on to catch on. :)
To understand the concept of Medicine in the Native American way, one must redefine “medicine”. The medicine we are referring to is anything that improves one’s connection to the Great Mystery and to all of life.
This would include the healing of the mind, body and spirit. This medicine is also anything that brings personal power, strength and understanding.
It is the constant living of life in a way that brings healing to the Earth Mother and to all of our associates, family, friends, and fellow creatures.
